Foto a sinistra, Il sole sopra Cosona: splende forte ma freddo, il sole sopra l’area di Cosona. Le campagne di Pienza sono belle almeno quanto il centro abitato.
In Cielo tricolore (la foto a destra) il bianco sporco e il grigio che si scurisce con il passare dei minuti soverchiano il sereno, ridotto a una sottile fascia all’orizzonte.
On the left, The sun above Cosona: the sun over the Cosona area shines strong but cold. Pienza’s countryside is at least as beautiful as the town.
In Three colors of sky (the photo on the right) the expanding off-white, and the gray that darkens as the minutes pass overpower the serene, reduced to a thin stripe on the horizon.
